When the phone rang the third time, I woke up and saw it’s an acquaintance I hold in high regard, the kind you always pick up. He’s based in the US so I understand that time difference messes with the best of us. Also, he knows I’m a light sleeper and we’ve had many conversations in the middle of the night.
So I picked up and found out it was just him checking up on me. That lasted for about 45 seconds or 1 minute, the next thing he asked me was if I noticed that Toke Makinwa had a lip job. The amebo in me did not let sleep get the better of me at that moment, so I checked her page and glanced through the last three photos she posted. Then I started drifting to sleep.
